dr.doctor

Once again I feel like crap.
I just can't seem to get back to normal since my ear problems in January.
My ears are plugged, I'm nauseous, can't eat, I keep losing weight (which at this point no longer feels like a bonus)
I feel tired most the time, I keep getting hives, I also have never been so closely aquatinted with my bathroom....if ya know what I mean.
I just want to feel normal again.
Last weekend was lovely (as per my last post) but I failed to report that half way through dinner I needed to make a dash for the washroom and wasted a perfectly fine meal. and evening.
Sunday I didn't want to stray too far from home...just in case....
So as nice a weekend as it was...it certainly could have been better.
I keep thinking- it has to get better.
I have good days and then not such good days. like most of this past week.
I'm so fed up of this and I'm starting to feel like I'm going crazy.
The "woosh...woosh wooshing" in my right ear isn't really helping matters.
All I can keep down (or in) is bananas, and oatmeal. barely.
I'm going to try to get in to see my doctor tomorrow and hopefully see if we can't pull a few strings and get in to see a specialist to get a second opinion about my ears.
I just feel bad for big daddy having to deal with this as well.
In sickness and in health that's for sure.

Oh you poor thing. I hope the dr has some answers for you tomorrow. I thought about you today as I was down by the lake with fam and I saw all the sailboats!
Are you going to Niagara in July for BFF??

Oh you poor thing!!! Definitely get in to see a ear nose throat specialist...perhaps it's an inner ear problem? But then again that doesn't explain weight loss and diarrhea...inner ear problems do cause vomiting and nausea though. Anytime a woman says "I keep losing weight (which at this point no longer feels like a bonus)" then there's definitely something wrong. Press your doctor to get you a referral and press that doctor to get you in asap. Poor thing, in the meantime take care of yourself.

That's way too long to be feeling so bad, PG. I hope they can get you in to see someone with some idea of what might be going on, and soon! It's tough to keep going on like that, so I am impressed by it, but still, you're right that it's definitely time to get looked at!

Oh man, I'm so sorry. That sounds terrible. I hope you're feeling better soon and you're able to get in with a specialist soon.

Done a pregnancy test lately? I'm sure you've covered all the bases... but your symptoms just sound very familiar - even with the ears. I had weird cold-like issues and vertigo. And a freind of mine had a terrible three months of hives. Anyway, it's probably not that... I'm sure you'd know by now. Hang in there and take care! Hopefully you'll have all of this figured out soon.

I'm so sorry that you are feeling like this - inner ear issues really effect everything considering how important you need your balance to stay... well for a lack of a better word - balanced. Wishing good health PG.

Be pushy about getting that second opinion. What else is there without good health? I hope you feel better soon.
