I never thought I would get excited by carpet.
But I am.
Finally repainted the basement and replaced the carpet with the wool sisal that I wanted.
mm..smells like a new house now...
Now if I could just convince Big daddy to replace all the creaky wood floors that we just had redone three years ago....

Love the carpet... now, if I could only convince my hubs to replace our cheap ugly stuff with some of that lovely-ness.
Carpet looks good!!! Ahh but the creaky wood floors add so much character, unless they're in front of your child's room when they're napping ;)
Yeah, I hear ya, who thought carpet could be exciting?
I agree with Gabriella - there is nothing worse than tiptoeing around while the baby sleeps only to accidentally step on a loud creaky board and ruin your down time. Argh.
